Public Artistic and Design Activities

  • Design activity 2019 - 2022: Leading the participatory design process of the ’Our Shared Virtual World” project, carried out in partnership with public library network of the capital region of Finland (Helmet), the City Library of Oulu, the Center for Ubiquitous Computing, University of Oulu, and Aalto University. The resulting co-created virtual reality experience Metsänhaltija sanojen jäljillä has been on display at several public libraries since 2022.

  • Design activity 2016 - 2018: Leading the concept creation for the Virtual Reality Library, realized in collaboration with The City Library of Oulu as part of the research and development work conducted at the Center for Ubiquitous Computing, University of Oulu. The Virtual Reality Library co-created during this process has been on display at the Oulu Main Library since autumn 2018.
